This book aims to challenge traditional notions of luxury and redefine them in the context of our current reality, where resources are becoming scarce. Expensive and branded items will no longer be the epitome of luxury, but rather using materials and construction techniques in the most efficient and long-lasting way will be considered a luxury. This shift towards sustainability and longevity is crucial for preserving resources for future generations. The feeling and experience of using a sustainable product will be the new luxury. As a result of this research, a system called Chel Tike was developed to help brands embrace this new approach and innovate in a sustainable way.
